Full & Part Time Positions - Competitive Rates

 

The Moriarty Group is an Irish owned company involved in both the Retail Grocery and Hospitality Industries. The company’s portfolio currently comprises of three large SuperValu Supermarkets in Balbriggan and Skerries in North County Dublin and Palmerstown, Dublin 20.  The company also owns two 4* Hotels, the Bracken Court Hotel, Balbriggan, North County Dublin and the Court Yard Hotel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare.  The company currently employee’s approximately 550 people.

 

At the Court Yard Hotel we are currently seeking to recruit experienced, professional and enthusiastic Senior Bartenders to join our team. If you are passionate about the hospitality industry and would like to develop your career within a busy and extremely popular property, we could have an excellent opportunity for you.

 

The Role:

We have both full-time and part-time positions available.  Full-time positions will require candidates to  work an average of 42.5 to 45 hours per week - 5 days over 7 to include weekends and public holidays.  

Part-time positions will require the candidate to work 24-32 hours per week 3-4 days over 7 to include weekends and public holidays,. 

 

Very competitive salary/rates will apply to this position/s DOE.

 

Main Duties:

  • Working closely with the hotels Food & Beverage Manager on the day to day operations of the busy bar service.
  • Take a leading role in the bar while on duty.
  • Take an active role in the development of the bar/bar trade.
  • Ensure service standards are being delivered within the bars while on duty.
  • Working behind the bar/preparing drinks
  • General bar service duties
  • Training and development of junior staff. 
  • Work in conjunction with the Hotel's Food & Beverage service team.
  • Bar food service duties.
  • Providing excellent customer care to our guests at all times
  • HACCP /Hygiene duties

 

Requirements:

  • 2-3+ years experience as a Senior Bartender
  • Must be enthusiastic and have great customer focus
  • Must be able to develop more junior team members.
  • Have a leadership presence within the bar.
  • Must be available to work late nights and weekend shifts.
  • Must have a good knowledge of the beverage/bar industry/product range
  • Excellent communications and people skills
  • Must be able to work as part of a team
