Accommodation Assistant

Accommodation Assistant Opportunity at the 4* Bracken Court Hotel, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.

 

The Bracken Court Hotel is currently seeking to recruit an Accommodation Assistant to join our Accommodation Team. If you have an interest in the hospitality industry and would like to develop your career within a busy 4*property we could have an excellent opportunity for you.

 

The Role:

We have both full-time and part-time positions available.

The full-time role will require the candidates to be available to work 39/40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 and they must be available to work mid-week and weekend day shifts.The part-time role will require the candidate to work 24-32 hours per week, 3-4 days over 7 and they must be available to work midweek and weekend day shifts.

 

Main Duties:

 

  • Maintain agreed standards of hygiene and cleanliness in bedrooms and public areas of the hotel
  • General housekeeping duties 
  • HACCP duties
  • Work in conjunction with the reception team to ensure that rooms are presented as per the guests initial booking details

 

Requirements:

 

  • Previous experience as an accommodation assistant would be desirable but is not essential
  • Previous HACCP training would be desirable but is not essential
  • Must be fluent in the English Language 
  • Must be enthusiastic and a quick learner
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Must have a keen attention to detail
